We are a small press with a big focus– giving voice to good mystery and suspense writing. While the mega publishers continue to cull from their slush piles of submissions the next populist mega seller, we at Dead Man’s Press strive to find, and work with, the next great mid-list novelists.
If you’ve written a good mystery or suspense novel we would like to hear from you. Every member of our organization is a seasoned professional. And our mission is simple– to ensure that the authors who entrusts their work to our imprint is presented in the professional and creative manner their novel deserves.
Our acceptance criterion is simple. We don’t expect you to possess a master’s in English, but we do expect you to have command of the language and know how to tell a compelling story. If we accept your submission for publication we’ll work with you every step of the way to take your manuscript from completed work to published novel.
